Samsung has introduced first dual SIM mobile phone which will support both 3G and 2G services. During the month of June this year, company had launched the same in Sweden and now it has been announced for the Indian handset market. The phone will be branded as Star Duos and is the first dual-SIM phone supporting 3G and 2G dual-active standby. The 3G + 2G (HSDPA + EDGE) Dual Standby expands communication networks by utilizing two SIM cards to expertly manage both work and life tasks in one unit, and allows switching between both without re-powering the handset.
The phone has a 3.2-inch touchscreen display and features a 3 page extended menu with TouchWiz 2.0 UI, 5MP camera with Power LED flash, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi, SNS support, DNSe audio enhancing technology, FindMusic service to identify songs, Document viewer, FM Radio, 9 regional language support, 250MB internal memory and microSD card slot supporting up to 16GB.
Samsung is optimistic on the dual-SIM mobile handset market. The recent IDC report for mobile shipments in India implies that about 38.5 percent of sales in the last quarter were of dual-SIM devices. Samsung expects that its dual SIM portfolio will contribute at least 25 percent to its mobile phone sales.
The Samsung Star Duos GT – B7722 will be available in price range of Rs 12300.

as u use sim 2 the problem with the flash arises ,means suppose your finger touches the camera flash automatically comes on this cannot be rectified after changing mother board ,camera so please dont buy this phone
