Korean phone maker giant, Samsung, has announced that it will be launching the its Android 2.2 for its Galaxy S in September this year.
This announcement was made by the company, when a leaked version of the OS was available on the Internet, but Samsung did not use it, but rather awaited for the right time to provide the users the full version.
The exact date has not been announced by Samsung, but the month of September has been finalised. The new OS would help the Galaxy S use Adobe Flash and also help create Mobile Hotspots.
Samsung criticized those who have said that the sales of the Galaxy S is poor, but it has said that would soon be launching a successor to the Galaxy by any time next year, but for now, Galaxy S has a strong market world wide.
