A new mobile game has made its way into the Android Market, namely Angry Birds, now available for download only as a Lite Beta version.
According to Rovio Mobile, the maker of the game, Angry Birds Lite for Android is now available for download from the Android Market for all those interested in giving the solution a try.
The game is available for free on the software portal, but users should not forget the fact that it is only a beta version for the time being.
However, as the company announced via a post on its blog, it shouldn't be too long before the final release of the mobile game is made available for download for all users out there.
“This week, we were planning to run a closed beta test of Angry Birds Lite for Android. Due to the massive response and demand from the Android community, we have decided to make Angry Birds Lite Beta available for everybody through the Android Market this Friday,” Rovio Mobile notes on the said blog post.
Those who will download and install the game on their Android devices should offer feed-back on the experience they receive from it.
Angry Birds Lite Beta comes with a “report a bug button in the main menu,” in case one discovers any issues with the application.
“We have tested the game on a number of Android devices, and we would love to hear your feedback on how the game is performing on your personal device,” the company says.
The beta version of the game is still undergoing some final testing before the official release is delivered to users.
“We want to ensure that we will publish the best game ever released on Android, and we hope that this beta version will prove to our Android fans that Angry Birds has been worth the wait,” the company concludes.
More info on the game ca be found in the two videos below, the second one being a hands-on from Android Central.
