The Opera Mini 5.1 update was made available in the first week of July. It proffered a slew of fresh features and many updates. The browsers update had been released for platforms like Android, BlackBerry and Java. Opera has now brought its Opera Mini 5.1 web browser to the Windows Mobile platform.

This browser is now available for Windows Mobile 2003 SE, 5.x and 6.x phones. This update enables users to set Opera as their default browser. It even renders better support for devices with high-resolution (high DPI) and the accelerometer. The Opera Mini’s server backbone offers speedy browsing which the company claims can shorten the user’s mobile data bill by up to 90 percent.
The Opera Mini 5.1 browser for Windows Mobile comes with enhanced font rendering and page layout. Loaded with auto-rotation support, it also offers advanced configuration support. The browsers can be downloaded by visiting m.opera.com from the handset’s default browser. The Opera Mini 5.1 can be obtained for free.
