Samsung Electronics has launched another stylish touch screen phone Star Nano 3G S3370. The 3G-enabled handset is available at an affordable price of Rs 7,320.
The model comes with 2.6 inch screen and offers a fine resolution. With more advanced features the phone has a 4-page menu. It also supports advanced connectivity with 348 kbps DL/UL.
The SNS 2.0 feature in the new model offers seamless connection to the social networking sites like Facebook, Myspace etc. Along with these features the device also supports GTalk, AIM, and Palringo Chat for instant messaging.

Overall the 3G-enabled S3370 model has been designed with comprehensive features including faster internet browsing- faster data downloads, better sound quality, video streaming, and wide screen with quality resolution.
The Samsung Star Nano 3G comes with a 2.6 inch TFT resistive touch screen that offers excellent color reproduction by virtue of its ability to display up to 256,000 colors within the confines of its 240 x 320 pixel resoulation. As its primary means of navigation the handset utilizes the TouchWiz user interface, which within this particular handset is version 2.0.
The Star Nano 3G provides both vibration and ring alert options, in addition to the ability to use MP3 files, whether they are existing or downloaded, as additional ring-tones. The unit provides a speakerphone, which incorporates digital natural sound engine technology, providing effective hands free communication capabilities. Users will be able enjoy better quality audio for their music, thanks to DNSe v2.0 for the Multimedia player in the phone.
The handset comprises of 50 MB of internal memory with the ability to supplement this by utilizing the existing microSD card slot, offering the opportunity to increase memory capacity up to a more creditable 16 GB. Connectivity is provided by class 10 versions of GPRS and EDGE in addition to blue tooth and USB connections. Samsung Star Nano 3G is a Quad Band phone supporting GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800 & GSM 1900 and HSDPA 2100 network. With super fast connectivity, this 3G phone is supported by Bluetooth®A2DP, USB, EDGE, GPRS for quick access and swift data transfer. Furthermore, WAP 2.0 XHTML and HTML browser allows instant net browsing.
The handset comes with a 1.3 megapixel snapshot style camera which operates at 1280 x 1024 pixels and incorporates the feature known as smile detection. In addition QCIF video can be recorded as an alternative to still imagery. The unit also provides an MP4/MP3 media player as well as a stereo FM radio with RDS, in addition to a variety of games.
The handset phone book offers the means to retain up to 1000 contacts as well as provide the photo call feature.
